Pavilion and Group Area Rentals
HCA has a variety of pavilions and group areas for you and your group to enjoy. Whether you’re coming for a family event or a large corporate picnic, we have the perfect spot for you!

Pavilion and group area rentals do not include area entrance fees.
HCA Members receive 15% off pavilion and group area bookings!*
*Discount not applicable to Confederation Beach Park, Wild Waterworks or wedding rentals.
A charcoal BBQ is included with each rental, but you will be required to supply your own charcoal. Additional BBQ’s can be rented for a fee, and is dependent on availability.

Group Areas
Group areas are outdoor open areas with no shelter. Most areas are shaded by trees.
Butternut Grove Group Area: $78.50 +HST

Beach Pavilion I: $310 +HST

Lakeside Pavilion: $255 +HST
Capacity: Seats 300-500 under shelter
Details: Washroom on-site; electrical power; outside water hookup; kitchenette (fridge and sink); private location
Marina Pavilion: $255 +HST
Capacity: Seats 100 under shelter (50 inside, 50 outside)
Details: Washrooms on-site; electrical power; outside water hookup; enclosed seating area; kitchenette (fridge, oven and sink); wheelchair accessible
McCoy Pavilion: $245 +HST
Capacity: Seats 500-1000 under shelter
Details: Washrooms at Marina Pavilion; electrical power; outside water hookup
Area Bylaws and Picnic Requirements
- City of Hamilton by-laws require that groups of 20+ people obtain a permit to hold a picnic or event within Confederation Beach Park.
- Large organized family groups or corporate picnics in excess of 20 people must preregister for a pavilion or group area in accordance with City of Hamilton Bylaw 01-219.
- HCA requires notice of buses or other large vehicles entering the park.
- Portable BBQ use is not permitted other than at designated spaces by permit in accordance with City of Hamilton Bylaw 01-219.
- Smoking is not permitted at any City of Hamilton Park Bylaw 11-080
- Large events may also be required to fill out a special event application form prior to their event being permitted and enter into a formal user agreement with HCA.

Note: There are no entrance fees to Confederation Beach Park.
Group Area
Group areas are outdoor open areas with no shelter. Charcoal BBQ’s are available with each rental upon request, but you will be required to supply your own charcoal.
Orchard Group Area: $200.00 +HST
Capacity: Seats approximately 80 people
Details: One portable washroom; no electrical or water hookups available; private location
Pavilions

Willow Cove Pavilion: $520 +HST
Capacity: Seats approximately 150 under shelter and tables outside around the pavilion.
Details: Electrical power, two 15 amp outlets; outside water hookup; two washrooms; volleyball net (must supply own ball)
Edgewater Pavilion: $975.00 +HST*
*Groups above 300 guests are by special arrangement with Park Superintendent
Capacity: Seats approximately 300 people under shelter (64’x 44’) and approximately 300 people at tables outside around the pavilion
Details: Electrical power, fourteen 15 amp outlets and two 30 amp outlets; outside water hookup; washrooms onsite; volleyball net (must supply own ball)

Capacity: Seats approximately 80 people at picnic tables under the shelter
Details: Portable washroom; private area with parking; beautiful setting overlooking Stacey Pond; no electricity or water

Pavilion
Powell Pavilion: $350.00 +HST
Capacity: Approximately 100 people and seating for 50 at picnic tables under shelter, more seating outside around the pavilion
Details: Onsite washrooms; volleyball net (must supply own ball); kitchenette with microwave and double sink; wood stove(must supply own wood); two outside patios and a glassed-in area; charcoal BBQ available upon request (must supply own charcoal)
Group camping area located directly behind for overnighters at an additional cost

Wild Waterworks offers three pavilions located inside of Wild Waterworks. Please note to access the pavilion areas inside Wild Waterworks all patrons must pay the admission fee.
