About Boating at HCA
Christie Lake
Christie Lake covers 60-hectares and is the perfect spot for a paddle! The area is also equipped with a boat launch at the Marina Pavilion. No gasoline motors allowed on the lake.
Fifty Point
The area offers docking spaces for 330 boats and a double boat launch. Other marina facilities include a fully serviced gas dock and pump-out station, visitor docks, hydro hook-ups, water, showers, washrooms, and winter storage facilities. Learn more.
Valens Lake
Paddle across the lake, under the bridge and around the island; Valens Lake is perfect for a day on the water. The area is also equipped with a boat launch at the boat house. No gasoline motors allowed on the lake.
Boat Rentals
Boat rentals are available at Christie Lake and Valens Lake from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day. Lifejackets are included with all boat rentals. Please click here for fees.
Christie Lake
Canoes and stand-up paddle boards are available to rent for 2-hours, 4-hours, or a full day. Visit to Beach Store to rent your canoe. Click here for hours.
Valens Lake
Canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards are available to rent for 2-hours, 4-hours, or a full day. Visit the Boat House to rent your boat. Click here for hours.
