HCA Administrative By-law
Section 19.1 of the Conservation Authorities Act provides for each Conservation Authority to establish by-laws. HCA’s Administrative By-law is reviewed and approved annually and was last amended on October 7, 2021. The By-law guides Board Members in their roles as HCA representatives.
The Terms of Reference for the advisory committees are included in the By-law.
If these By-laws conflict with any provision of the Conservation Authorities Act, the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act or a provision of a regulation made under one of those acts, the provision of those acts or regulations prevail.
