Christie Lake Conservation Area Reopens August 1

Christie Lake Conservation Area will reopen on Saturday, August 1 at 9 AM.

As part of the reopening, additional portable washrooms will be available at the beach area and the former Lakeside Pavilion site to support both washroom access and changing needs. Flush washrooms and drinking water will be available at the Marina Pavilion.

Boat rentals will not be available at this time.

We will continue to post operational updates on the Christie Lake Conservation Area page as they become available. Visitors are encouraged to check there before visiting for the latest information on available facilities and services.

Christie Lake Conservation Area Closed July 29
Christie Lake Conservation Area is closed today, July 29, following an early morning fire. The closure is required for public safety while the site is assessed.

The fire caused significant damage to two buildings within the conservation area. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Hamilton Police.
