About Mount Albion Conservation Area
Fees: Parking is $8.00 per day; free with HCA Membership Pass.
Mount Albion Conservation Area is a 75-acre parcel of land on the Stoney Creek mountain. Small but beautiful, this area boasts rolling meadows, thickets, wetlands, a mature spruce forest, and the meandering channels and cascades of Hannon Creek.
Start your adventure at the Chippewa Rail Trail Parking Lot, located on the west side of the conservation area. From here you can explore 1.6 kilometers of maintained trails inside the conservation area or connect to several local trail systems including the Chippewa Rail Trail, East Mountain Loop, and the Red Hill Valley Trail. Whether you are looking for an easy nature walk with the family or an extended adventure, Mount Albion Conservation Area has something for everyone!
