Join us to learn how to identify common invasive species and document them using iNaturalist. After some hands-on training, we’ll work together to remove invasive plants from the area. Participants will leave with the skills to spot and report invasive species wherever they go, contributing valuable data to the Natural Areas Inventory and helping map threats to biodiversity across Hamilton.

NAI BioBlitz Events
Join us to build your species identification skills and learn how to use iNaturalist to document biodiversity in a target area. We’ll practice by recording the plants and animals we observe, contributing directly to the Natural Areas Inventory. This data helps us better understand species composition and distribution in Hamilton, and supports decisions about habitat protection, restoration, and the status of local species.
