Supporting Our Trails, Together

We all have a moment, a memory, or a story that connects us to Hamilton’s extraordinary trails.

Trails are the backdrop to daily refuge, weekend traditions, and once-in-a-lifetime moments like our children’s first bike rides, fishing successes, and camping trips.

Hamilton Conservation area trails connect us to nature and to each other.

This autumn, you’re invited to make a gift to enhance and protect nature trails, and to share what the trails mean to you and your family.

Your donation will directly support:
  • Trail maintenance: clearing brush, repairing erosion, resurfacing paths
  • Interpretative and educational signage: helping to enhance the visitor experience
  • Habitat protection and restoration across the watershed
  • Community programs that connect people to the land
In the last year, thanks to donors like you, we:
  • Introduced the Basadinaa Experience, a new Indigenous-led trail signage journey sharing stories of cultural and historical significance in Dundas Valley
  • Added a boat rinsing station to stop aquatic invasives from spreading at Fifty Point
  • Installed new and improved wayfinding signage to enhance user experience and accessibility at Spencer Gorge, Christie Lake, Crooks’ Hollow, and Eramosa Karst

These are the quiet victories that protect the places we love. What else will we achieve over the coming year together?

Make your fall gift today and share a favourite HCA conservation area memory.
