Valens Lake offers overnight accommodation at the Drumlin Cabins! Eight different cabins are available with options for occupancy from 1-6 people, in three different cabin layouts.
Each cabin renatl includes:
- Propane BBQ
- Kitchenette with sink and mini fridge, or full size fridge in deluxe rental
- Inside dining table
- High quality mattresses
- Flush toilet washroom
- Fire pit (located outside)
- Two picnic tables
- Electric base board heating for the cold months
- Parking for one vehicle included. Additional vehicle fees apply if more than one.
Types of Cabins
Double Cabins – Sleeps up to 2 people
These studio style cabins include one queen bed, and indoor dining for 2 people.
For booking, these are cabins named: 1. Swan and 2. Mallard.
Deluxe Cabins – Sleeps up to 6 people
These deluxe cabins are accessible and feature 2 separate bedrooms. One with a queen bed and single bunk overtop, and the other with 2 sets of single bunk beds. There is a full sized fridge, dining table for 6, and a large living area featuring a couch and two chairs. There is also a fully accessible washroom.
For booking, these are cabins named 3. Canada Goose and 4. Loon.
Family Cabins – Sleeps up to 5 people
These studio style cabins include one double bed with a single bunk over top and single bunk beds. There is indoor dining for 4 people.
For booking, these are cabins named 5. Heron, 6. Osprey, 7. Eagle and 8. Owl.
Cabin Information
Overview
- Booking durations:
- Minimum Stays: 2 night minimum at all times; 3-night minimum stay on long weekends
- Maximum Stays: 14 nights
- Reservations for cabins can be made up to 6 months prior to arrival, subject to availability.
- Check-in is at 3PM and check-out is at 11AM.
- Must be 25 years of age to book. Renter must be present during the stay.

Cancelling or changing your reservation
If you cancel or shorten your stay before 12 PM Eastern Time on your arrival date, you will be charged a 10-50% penalty fee on the total value of the reservation. The reservation fee of $13.27 + HST is non-refundable. Refund = [fees paid at reservation (excluding reservation fee and HST)] – penalty fee. The minimum fee for shortening or cancelling a reservation is 8.50 + HST modification fee.
Time prior to arrival and penalties
- Less than 48 hours prior to 12 PM of arrival date: No refund
- 1 month to 48 hours prior to 12 PM of arrival date: 50% penalty
- Greater than 1 month up to 2 months: 40% penalty
- Greater than 2 months up to 3 months: 30% penalty
- Greater than 3 months up to 4 months: 20% penalty
- Greater than 4 months: 10% penalty
Visitors should bring:
- Bedding, including sheets, pillows, sleeping bags, comforters, etc.
- Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, cups, cooking utensils, dish soap, towels, etc.
- Food and drinks.
- Garbage bags.
- Any other personal items.
- Cooking, smoking, and vaping are not allowed in your cabin. Valens Lake Conservation Area is an alcohol free, family campground.
- Dogs and/or pets are not allowed in the cabin, or on the site.
- Only one dining shelter is permitted on your site. No additional sleeping shelters are permitted.
- Do not remove cabin furniture.
- Recycling and garbage are to be dropped off at garbage and recycling depot at Valens Lake.
- Cabins are to be left clean.
