Revenues Processing Analyst Summer Student
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Revenues Processing Analyst Summer Student is required to perform a variety of accounting functions in response to the increased summer activities of the Hamilton Conservation Authority.
Responsibilities
The position will work closely with the finance team to:
• Review daily sales and cash receipts, and match to deposit slips
• Summarize daily sales and cash reports for entry onto general ledger
• Analyze transaction accounts
• Sort and file documents
• Deliver daily deposits to financial institution
• Provide reception coverage when necessary
• Assisting with general administration tasks
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Enrolled in post-secondary education in accounting, commerce, or business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
• Valid G2 driver’s license (or higher) required
• Work experience in accounting and related recording procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Accounting Software, an asset
Working Conditions
Normal work hours will total 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm. The office is located at 838 Mineral Springs Road, Ancaster, Ontario.
Work Term and Rate of Pay
This position has an anticipated starting date in mid-June and an anticipated completion date of August 29, 2025. The rate of pay is $18.53 per hour.
