What is PaRx?
PaRx is Canada’s national nature prescription program, led by BC Parks Foundation. The program supports licensed healthcare providers in prescribing time in nature to improve patients’ mental and physical health, while working with partners to reduce barriers to access.
Patients receiving a PaRx nature prescription can now access a 30-day HCA Membership Pass, making it easier to spend time in HCA areas.
How do I apply for my PaRx HCA Membership Pass?
After receiving a PaRx prescription from a participating physician, complete our online application form. Once the form is completed, HCA staff will get in touch with you.
What is the cost and how long is the pass valid?
While the HCA Membership is free, a $10 administrative fee will still apply. Passes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
