Apply for a Filming Permit
Hamilton Conservation Authority requires a permit for all filming activities on its properties.
If you plan to film on Hamilton Conservation Authority property, you must apply for a Filming Permit at least 10 business days before your production begins.
Required Application Materials
To apply, please submit the following:
- Location Filming Application
- Applicable film location fees
- Sketches and Maps (must include):
- Identification of North
- All roads, trails, and fences
- Locations of production vehicles
- Film site and all significant equipment

Fees and Deposits
If your request can be accommodated, film location fees and a damage deposit will apply.

Insurance Requirements
If your request can be accommodated, you will also be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance:
- Commercial General Liability Insurance of $2,000,000 per occurrence
- $5,000,000 required for Confederation Beach Park
- Hamilton Region Conservation Authority must be listed as additional insured
- For Confederation Beach Park, both the City of Hamilton and HRCA must be listed as additional insured
