Looking for a simple way to enjoy the outdoors without planning ahead? Valens Lake Conservation Area is introducing Drop-In Campfires, a new day-use experience that lets you enjoy a campfire or picnic at your own pace.
Day-use visitors are welcome to use any campsite in the Tamarack Loop (sites 25-36), to build their own fire, and have a picnic.
Drop-In Campfires are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations required. Just arrive, explore the loop, and choose an open site to enjoy for the day.
