Reserve now for Westfield’s Halloween Pumpkin Party

Reservations are now open for Westfield Heritage Village’s annual Halloween Pumpkin Party, returning on Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

This fun-filled family day will feature pumpkin-themed activities, including traditional Halloween games, a unique craft, and a spectacular showcase of carved pumpkins in the barn. A crazy pumpkin slingshot will have you cheering, and a tractor ride will take you down a beautiful forest path. Meet a family of friendly scarecrows when you cross the covered bridge. Pumpkin takes center stage at cooking and baking demonstrations of delicious period recipes throughout the village. Visitors of all ages are welcome to dress up in their favourite costumes, especially historical and steampunk. This event is intended for all ages, and there will be some spooky options for those feeling brave.

The Copetown Lions food truck will be on-site, and the Gift Shop will be open. Make sure you stop by the General Store for some fun Halloween-related items!

Advanced Reservation Required

Each reservation is for a 2-hour time slot and are for six people maximum. One vehicle is permitted per reservation. If you are bringing two vehicles, a second reservation is required. Additional vehicles will be turned away – no exceptions.

All visitors, including HCA Membership Pass holders, will be required to make a reservation prior to their visit or will be turned away. No walk-in pedestrian traffic is permitted without a valid reservation. Time slots are available starting at 10 AM, with the last one available at 2 PM. The program closes at 4 PM. You can book a reservation until 9 AM on the day you would like to visit, subject to availability.

Flood Status Explanations

	Normal No low water conditions exist.
	Level 1 Water users are asked to voluntarily reduce consumption by 10 percent. Precipitation totals are less than 80 percent of long-term averages and/or 30-day average streamflows are less than 100 / 70 percent (springtime / otherwise) of the minimum of the long-term average monthly flows for summer months.
	Level 2 Water users are asked to voluntarily reduce consumption by 20 percent. Precipitation totals are less than 60 percent of long-term averages and/or 30-day average streamflows are less than 70 / 50 percent (springtime / otherwise) of the minimum of the long-term average monthly flows for summer months.
	Level 3 There is also potential for economic harm to water takers and/or significant harm to the ecosystem. The Hamilton Water Response Team may ask the province to impose mandatory restrictions on those holding Permits to Take Water. Precipitation totals are less than 40 percent of long-term averages and/or 30-day average streamflows are less than 50 / 30 percent (springtime / otherwise) of the minimum of the long-term average monthly flows for summer months.

	Normal No flood conditions exist.
	Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety High flows, unsafe banks, melting ice or other factors that could be dangerous for recreational users such as anglers, canoeists, hikers, children, pets, etc. Flooding is not expected.
	Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook Early notice of the potential for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snow melt, high wind or other conditions that could lead to high runoff, cause ice jams, lakeshore flooding or erosion.
	Flood Watch Flooding is possible in specific watercourses or municipalities. Municipalities, emergency services and individual landowners in flood-prone areas should prepare.
	Flood Warning Flooding is imminent or already occurring in specific watercourses or municipalities. Municipalities and individuals should take action to deal with flood conditions. This may include road closures and evacuations.
