Volunteer sought for General Public Representative on the Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region invites eligible candidates to fill one General Public vacancy on the Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee. If you are a collaborative, solutions oriented individual, with an interest in local watersheds and drinking water matters, please submit your application by Friday, September 22, 2023.

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region comprises the areas of Halton Region and Hamilton Region Conservation Authorities.

The Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Committee’s role is to guide the development and update of the source protection plan and reports for the Halton-Hamilton Source Protection Region. The Committee is comprised of nine members and the Chair. The members act as liaisons for their sectors, and regularly attend committee and public meetings.

The term of office will begin in December 2023 and will last about 5 years, with a possibility of renewal.
