HCA is now offering a new and exciting overnight accommodation, the Drumlin Cabins! These cabins are the first of their kind at HCA and are located at Valens Lake Conservation Area.
These eight new cabins are available in three different layouts and have occupancy for one to six people. In addition to being located in a gorgeous conservation area, all the cabins feature pine walls, ceilings, and log furniture for that authentic feel of being in the great outdoors. Each is equipped inside with bed(s), kitchenette, two-piece washroom, dining table, and baseboard heat, and outside with a propane barbeque, firepit, and two picnic tables. All offer stunning views as they overlook Valens Lake.
“The cabin concept to construction has been a long journey,” said Gord Costie, Director of Conservation Area Services, “and HCA is thrilled to reveal our first-ever roofed accommodation in a conservation area. We fully anticipate great interest and high demand for year-round cabin occupancy.”
Reservations are required and will open to the public on Wednesday, February 8, at 7:00 AM. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made up to 6 months before arrival. Patrons can stay for 2 to 14 nights at a time, and reservations can be made at www.hcareservations.ca.
