Knotweed Knockdown

Please join HCA staff in the cutting down of two patches of Japanese Knotweed at our Copetown Bog property. Japanese Knotweed is an aggressive invasive species that HCA is working to remove from our properties. The plant is easy to cut down and this work will help HCA prepare the site for further control. Tools and gloves will be provided for the event. Please come dressed for the weather and please wear closed toed shoes.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
As we will be working near the roadside of Highway 52, HCA would request no children younger than 10 years old attend this event. Thank you.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Please park in the parking lot for the Summit Bog. It is on the east side of Highway 52, just after the mailboxes. (622 Hwy 52, Hamilton, ON)

Spots are limited and participants must register online in advance.
