Hamilton Community Foundation Day: A Place to Belong

It’s the Canada 150 birthday weekend! On Sunday July 2, Hamilton Community Foundation is marking the occasion by inviting you to discover all that Hamilton has to offer.

Come out and enjoy more than 40 recreational, cultural, historical and conservation sites across the city — all for free!

Have a swim, go for a picnic or enjoy our museums and world class gardens. From Dundas to Stoney Creek, downtown to the mountain, opening doors is just another way that HCF is creating a vibrant, inclusive Hamilton — a place where everyone belongs

Admission is free on this day at the following HCA Areas:

  • Christie Lake*
  • Confederation Beach Park**
  • Devil’s Punchbowl
  • Dundas Valley
  • Eramosa Karst
  • Fifty Point *
  • Tiffany Falls
  • Valens Lake*
  • Westfield Heritage Village

*Camping, marina and rentals not included
**Lakeland Pool and Wild Waterworks not included

Areas listed above are free on this date, some exclusions apply. Areas open from 9am until sunset, except Westfield Heritage Village which is open 12:30pm to 4pm.
