Ecocise Series: Free the Hill! Buckthorn Pull

Join HCA ecology staff to remove Common Buckthorn (invasive shrub species) from a wooded slope at Borer’s Fall Conservation Area. A short walk from the parking lot at the Borer’s Falls Dog Park is a large stand of young Common Buckthorn. We will be working to remove the Common Buckthorn with extractigators (pulling tool) and by hand.

This event is on a wooded slope and the footing maybe uneven at times. Please wear closed toed shoes and dress for the weather. HCA will provide tool and work gloves for this event.

Event maybe cancelled if it is raining.

The event is free but space is limited. We ask that your register in advance.
