Ecocise! Part II: Tree Planting for Buff Slopes

Get some fresh air and exercise while you’re at it at our planting event!

Please join The Hamilton Watershed Stewardship Program as we are returning to a natural corner of Dundas, as Part 2 of a restoration exercise (sign up for the invasive plant removal event on September 18th too!). This time around we will be buffing up a natural slope with native trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants to return the sloping hill stable back into a steady and ecologically healthy greenspace!

Don’t forget, attendees have a chance to win a HCA pass to Wild Water Works!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On street parking is available near the property and is a very short walk to the location. There will be signs nearby, indicating where the event is being held. Please contact the event coordinator for more information.

What should I bring into the event?
We will provide tools and gloves to participants. Please wear long pants, close toed shoes and dress for the weather. Also, remember your reusable water bottle!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can reach this event’s coordinator, Jeff Stock, by email: or by phone at 905-525-2181 ext.196
