Ecocise! Part I: Cutting the Invasive Mass
It’s time to step back out into nature and get your Ecocise!
Please join The Hamilton Watershed Stewardship Program as we will once again be working up a sweat removing a variety of invasive plant species from a natural corner of Dundas. Invasive plants will be dug, cut and pulled to help a private landowner return their land back to a healthier, more biodiverse state.
This is Part 1 of a 2 Part exercise (sign up for the planting event on September 25th too!).
Don’t forget, attendees have a chance to win a HCA pass to Wild Water Works!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On street parking is available near the property and is a very short walk to the location. There will be signs just below indicating where the event is being held. Please contact the event coordinator for more information.
What should I bring into the event?
We will provide tools and gloves to participants. Please wear long pants, close toed shoes and dress for the weather. Also, remember your reusable water bottle!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can reach this event’s coordinator, Jeff Stock, by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 905-525-2181 ext. 196.
