Wild Waterworks outdoor water park has begun recruiting for its 2017 summer operations. In anticipation of an exciting and busy summer we will be hiring approximately 120 dynamic and guest service minded individuals to join our team. Wages will commensurate with qualifications, education and experience.
Important details to be aware of:
- All Staff are required to attend mandatory orientation training sessions during the month of May and additional ongoing training through to Labour Day in September
- Employment terms extend until Labour Day in September
- Police checks required for all positions
- Weekend and evening work is required, positions are seasonal and do not allow for vacation periods

LIFEGUARDS – Up to 55 lifeguards required. All applicants must be 16 or older and require a current National Lifeguard Service certificate, CPR (Level C or HCP) and Standard First Aid. Ability to work as a team. Those hired will be required to meet fitness requirements. Applicants not currently NLS certified are invited to apply. Instructors certification is required for Water Smart program. Starting wage $13.50/hr depending on skills and experience
WATERSLIDE ATTENDANTS – Up to 8 waterslide attendants required to dispatch riders and operate 6 water slides in a safe manner within regulations. Ability to work as a team. Bronze Cross and Standard First aid required. Starting wage- Minimum wage
MAINTENANCE – Up to 15 maintenance staff required with various levels of skills and experience to perform pre-season park maintenance, grounds keeping and janitorial duties. Ability to work as a team. Starting wage minimum wage depending on skills and experience
ASSISTANT POOL OPERATOR- 2 assistant pool operators required to assist with the the successful operation of the mechanical plant by performing various duties. Ability to work as a team. Previous experience dealing with pool filtration, water quality and attraction operation would be an asset. Starting wage is $13.50/hr depending on skills and experience
SECURITY – Up to 4 security staff required. Work involves daytime and, evening shifts. Applicants must possess their private security license as mandated by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Ability to work as a team. Wage is $13.50/hr depending on skills and experience
CASHIERS & SERVERS – Up to 22 cashiers and servers required. Experience with cash handling, food handling and customer service is required. Ability to work as a team. Starting wage minimum wage depending on skills and experience
GUEST SERVICES – Up to 6 staff for guest service required. Event planning, and administrative duties. Experience with groups, event planning, guest service, cash handling and office administration is required. Ability to work as a team. Wage is $11.75/hr
FOOD SERVICES - COOKS - Up to 10 cooks required for our fast paced food concession operations. Previous short order cook experience an asset. Ability to work as a team. Starting wage is minimum wage depending on skills and experience
