Request for Proposal – Lease of Restaurant at Fifty Point Conservation Area

Request for Proposals for this lease are invited by the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA) to be delivered, sealed and clearly marked, to the Administration Office at 838 Mineral Springs Road, PO BOX 81067 Ancaster, Ontario L9G 4X1, no later than 12 noon, local time, Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Proposals received after the specified closing time and date, regardless of postal markings at the point of mailing, or if personally delivered late, will not be opened. Proposal submission packages are available in hardcopy at the above address, no charge.

The Hamilton Conservation Authority owns and operates the 83-hectare Fifty Point Conservation Area at Fifty Point in Winona. The land base has been developed as a typical conservation area, with a 340-boat-slip marina being an important focal point. The conservation area also contains a 70 site recreational vehicle campground as well as day-use picnic pavilions, the Marina Centre with marina offices and coffee shop and a public trout fishing pond. One component of the Marina Centre is an 86-seat restaurant currently known as ‘The Landing’. In addition to the inside seating of 86, there is a large deck which serves as an outdoor patio – currently licensed for an additional 86 seats. The restaurant is currently licensed by the LLBO for both indoor and outdoor patio dining.
