Migration Bird Hikes in the Dundas Valley – SOLD OUT

EVENT SOLD OUT – Can be put on a wait list.

Join our resident ornithologist James Lees to look for birds at the most exciting time of year! Fall migration is the perfect time to see large numbers of song birds, water birds and hawks on the move. On these hikes James will help you to identify the birds but also share the story of their migration. Where these birds have been and where they are going.

This will be a moderate hike with variable terrain. Hikers should bring a water bottle and binoculars and a camera is recommended. No pets or dogs on this hike as they can scare away the birds.

Four different event dates:

  • September 8
  • September 21
  • October 6 – Sold out
  • October 20

Hikes begin at 8 am.

$15 for HCA Members
$20 for Non Members

Parking included in price.

Proceeds go to the Hamilton Conservation Foundation in support of projects in the Dundas Valley.
