Westfield Heritage Village
Did you know that Sunday June 18 is not only Father’s Day, but International Picnic Day too? What better place to celebrate both than at Westfield Heritage Village! Gather your friends and family, pack up a picnic and head to Westfield. You can enjoy your lunch in Westfield’s picnic area or find the perfect spot under a shady tree in the village.
A special feature on this day will be a draw for a lovely picnic basket stuffed with goodies! The draw will be held at the Bandstand at 2:00 pm.
An incredible steam traction engine from the Ontario Steam Heritage Museum will be at Westfield and visitors will be able to enjoy a free ride around the village. You can also visit Westfield’s TH&B 103 steam locomotive and railway station, learn about telegraphy and receive a souvenir ticket. Delicious sweet treats and cold drinks can be purchased at the General Store and you can enjoy your treats at the bandstand while listening to the fabulous live music of Babbage Industries. Many of the village’s historical buildings, staffed by authentically dressed interpreters, will be open for you to explore.
HCA Members receive free entry into Westfield’s public programming, for 6 people, including a maximum of 2 adults.
